I normally don't post Internet groups but I must say I am 100% with the POF 16 inch
Built buy my friend known as ABhobbiest on this forum.

I wanted a 16 inch 308 rifle capable of long range accuracy in a gas gun, something in the KAC M110 carbine style and well I won't attest to me being a good shooter but this POF is the real deal.

I tried AA2460 , blc 2, varget and RL15

Think RL 15 is the winner but was impressed with the performance of the BLc2 and 147 fmj bt at Moa

I have had bolt guns that never preformed like this POF

Thanks Richard !

Not a 16" version, but my now safe queen 14" (actually 12.5 without the flash hider, but Canada includes it in the measurements for some reason)

I shot this 5 shot group offhand at 50 so I suck, but the rifle is capable of shooting much better than me

I think the difference at 100 when Questar was comparing accuracy between the 16" and the 14" was about .47" and 200fps?.

Hello there All!!

JY you are most welcome.

If I may step in here, What JY has is actually a bit of one of my special projects.

The lower is indeed a POF lower, with an NP3 hard coating, and an ambi bolt catch, however, it is mated to a DPMS AP4 16" upper.

The two of these actually have different pin sizes, and through some research and bushing modification, I was able to get them to work together really well.

this is what the carbine used to look like:

Very neat one of a kind.

Direct impingement, 1:10 twist 4140 Chromemoly button rifled barrel. It doesn't' surprise me that it shoots. I would be really interested in seeing how it does with the 168 and 175 grain ammo!!

Nice shooting JY.

Was wondering when you might pop up here!! :)

JY feel free to correct me, however, I believe the above groups were shot with 178 grains Amax reloads, so that should be very close to the 175 SMK's you were talking about.
