Hard cases for long rifles, where and what brands?

For pelican cases, storm cases included try acklands grainier. There may be some smaller parts stores like ours that are acklands dealers and offer better pricing than what you find in the acklands catalog. I work part time at a auto parts store and we are an acklands dealer. Our prices are usually cheaper that catalog prices.

Love my 110ba. Shoots great. Have new bullets to try once it warms up and can actually walk to the target berms at the range without sinking in the snow.

I'm a little more crazy than all of you. When my M700 SPS Varmint 26" barreled .308 was too long for my beloved and favorite Pelican 1720 case, I just sent the barrel to Casey (CGN: Arwen Ace) at Tacord.com to cut it down to 20" and now it's all good inside the Pelican 1720.

Kinda backwards, but I really love that size of the 1720. Maybe it's time to buy another.... :D

Cheers,
Barney

That's crazy....

I've got 31" barrel and still looking for a case that I can take to the range so nothing fancy or waterproof is required. Just to simply transport and not break the bank.
