I must have fairly corrosive skin as the bluing on my P7M8 and other blued guns is coming off of the handle from regular handling/dryfiring. Has anyone sent guns to the US for Hardchroming? Tripps comes to mind. Not sure what kind of legal mess is require either.

I don't know if it's a nightmare or not. A dealer may be able to ship it easier.

If I were going to the trouble of having my gun shipped to the States, I would suggest that you consider Robar's treatment instead of the hard chroming.
Also suggest that you PM Gadget as I know that he has gone through the process and could give you some advise.

Do you oil the out side every couple weeks to keep the corrosion away? Hard chrmoming aP7 would look interesting.
Last I heard he is having difficulty getting the required chemicals. That was a few months ago.
