Hard hitting AR-15 hammer springs

Does anyone know if there is a harder hitting hammer spring than those produced Wolff? It is for an NEA in 7.62.

Have you looked at the Chrome Silicon ones made by Speedlock (David Tubb)?

Because the Wolff I put in mine will only fire about one in 10 rnds. The original spring would do about 8 out of 10.

The rear of your bolt likely needs to be filed down a bit. Have a look in the forums a few people explain how to do this. The firing pin doesn't protrude far enough on hard primers.

Just curious if you have the hammer spring installed correctly. I've done it wrong before.

I haven't heard of a heavy duty spring being needed, are you sure something isn't wrong? like a damaged firing pin, hammer, spring being installed wrong, etc?

I have no issues lighting off 100% of x39 with my NEA

Sorry for my slow replies here guys. I have already replaced the bolt and am on my third firing pin. Thanks for the heads up EHG but I was aware of that issue as well. 2centTactical, I'm going to look into that.

X2 I have a Wolff extra power hammer spring in my NEA and fires, romanian, Czech, Russian, and Chinese Surplus without a problem. Make sure its in right before spending more $$

I was actually having light primer strikes with a norinco lower. It was always fine with 5.56, but was having problems with some 7.62. I got a ALG combat trigger for a great price at Arms East. Works perfect

Have you tested the same ammo in a different type of rifle designed around the 7.62x39?
Have you tested different ammo in the same rifle?
