I bought one of those Harris bipod adapters for the AR-15 hand guard and it does not appear to fit the hanguard of the Norinco. I peeled back one side of the heat shield and slipped it underneath but it I wasn't able to get the heat shield back in place with it in.
The only way I can see it working is if I take the heat shield out, which I'd rather not do.
Does anyone have one of these adapters installed?
