Harris Bipod Question

Here's a really easy question. What height of Harris Bipod does one want for prone shooting? I'm guessing the 6"-9" but I don't want to order one that is too short for field work rather than having it for just bench shooting.

it really depends on your body type, i personally finer 6" to short and 9 to tall, so imusually around 8", but my buddy is a little "rounder" then me, and shoots with a 9-13 set at about 10"

also style of stock can come into play aswell

6-9 is perfect but like the last post. Depends on body type. I like 6-9. And Harris are great Bipods.

I use a 6-9" swivel model. I have aftermarket adapters and feet on mine to give it a bit of extra height. Works great. Good quality gear for sure.

It also will vary with where u shoot, it doesnt take much grass to render a 6-9 useless

Harris bipods are OK but not the best.
Try an Atlas then tell me which bipod is best.

For twice the price they darn well should be better then a Harris.
