I’ve seen a lot of that where the operating arms are just pinned into a plastic forend, for my setup I went for action bars off the wood stocked field versions where they still have a braised connection to a steel tube + castle nut assembly. Have had good longevity with mine.
Only issues we see regarding the Mossberg receivers is impact related. More issues with the action bars and the little plastic tabs that hold the front end of the trigger group in place, still a very reliable shotgun!
