I have a kimber 84m Adirondack stock that has some damage to the fore stock cap. I’m thinking about cutting it back a couple inches and refinishing the stock.

Does anyone know if the forestock is solid (possibly with a lightweight fill) or if it’s hollow?

I think the fill is some type of foam with a carbon shell. Gary (username G.E. Flach) has worked on a lot of Kimber rifles. He’d know for sure.
