Just wondering if magpul has ever been asked to make pmags for the lar pistol,
Wouldn't it be pretty easy to make a new item number, new packaging and pin to 10 instead of 5?
Wonder if they even know how many they would sell here..

Or you could just support a Canadian dealer, who is on this site, that makes/sells 10/10 polymer mags, that look like 20 round mags. They contacted Magpul, were rejected, and got CAA to do it.

Thanks you Alberta Tactical Rifle Supply.

ATRS AT15 223/5.56 10 round pistol mag

This is a military quality polymer magazine made by our friends at CAA in Israel, designed specifically for our AT-15 pistol. They are interchangeable with the LAR and RRA pistol mags.

$28 each

There are a few threads already. I only learned of them this week. Someone posted 500 rounds down range without issue. Some have opened up the rear of the feed lips like a Magpul M2 to M3 type mod for the BCG of some guns having clipped them, like M2 pmags. Minor issue.

ATRS has lots on the way, first run was/is going fast but silently for CGN standards.

Yes, the mountie lab approved them. Rick is no fool when it comes to this stuff. Well thought out in advance.

I ordered some of those CAA AT15 mags from Alberta tactical and was totally impressed to get them 3 days later....in Saskatchewan.

So far I have only used them in a little 3-gun match on the weekend. They load 10 and can still work on a closed bolt. They seem like the cat's a$$ so far! I'm taking Hungry's CQB clinic in Dundurn later this month and will get a better idea how reliable they really are. Good first impression with lots of real estate to hold onto and a nice wide base to ram them home. I haven't figured out how/if they come apart for cleaning yet? Anyone know the answer?

Now if only Magpul can market these in Canada as LAR Pistol Mags!

They do NOT come apart, the base plates are thermally welded to the body.
If you need to clean them, the dishwasher works well as does the old school method of soap and water. The stainless steel spring will NOT rust, so no worries there.

Not enough to bother. They recently gave away (as in free) 20,000 mags at a Colorado pro gun rally and had backorders for over 1 million mags after the Sandy Hook shootings. Our market isn't worth the effort it would take.

Because he has been burned by those clowns in the past, he is too familiar with how they work.

If they only came in 7.62x39 I'd be set

Now that would be SWEET.
