I picked up a few cases of them and wonder how many I can fit in my 870?

Any feed/cycle issues in your 870? I have read that not all shotguns digest these without issues...
Where in Canada can I buy these??
EDITED: to add that the problems were with the mini slugs IIRC

HEY!!! The :dancingbanana: is back!!

Those would be fun to shoot.
Wasnt there a guy on here saying he had a line on these or was going to make them or something like that?

Id be weary about shooting them..dont know why just weary..
how many did you end up being able to fit in the 870? im guessing 10?

I thought I was losing it for a minute when I didn't see my post! lol

When mods go and move a post without telling anyone, it gets reposted. It would be very simple to send a PM saying where the post was relocated to rather than just doing it. I thought it got deleted by accident or something....so I reposted it. It ain't rocket science and woud be a common courtesy...

Can you advise on cycling problems/issues?

I'd also be very interested on where to snag a box or two.

...just teasin ya

That's ok, I need to up my post count anyways! ;)

Someone in the other thread asked what they were used for...and someone here asked as well so....

This new type of 1-3/4" 12 ga shotshell (1-1/2" OAL loaded) was developed as part of the innovation drive carried out by Industrias Tecnos SA de CV from Cuernavaca, Mexico, manufacturer of "AGUILA" ammunition. The original idea was to create a new shotshell with law enforcement and military applications in mind. The new cartridge would generate a milder recoil (less shoulder punishment and faster reacquisition of the target after the first shot is fired), would provide more firepower (being able to load 12-14 rounds in a 20" bbl shotgun) and would be ergonomically friendlier (being able to grab a big lot of shells with one hand and comfortably place them in the pocket). Due to its smaller size one police officer/soldier would be able to carry about 40% more rounds than regular shotshells. All this, while providing the necessary power for Police/Military work.

The Aguila website has a short article on modifications that may need to be done to correct feeding problems.

Looks cool, sounds even handier. BUT... I am wondering about the chamber of the shotgun? The shell would open up very shallow in the chamber... could this be damaging? I am thinking that this might not be so good, especially in a chromed barrel of a fabarm.

Like Peter says, most shotguns will have trouble with these, because the shell-stop timing ends up letting 1 1/2 shells out of the mag before they try to block the next shell. A company in South Africa makes an ungodly awful-looking shotgun specifically FOR these shells, called the MAG-7:

I had the same mini rounds but mine were slugs,i picked them up at gun shows in toronto and ancaster. As far as feeding problems they worked fine in my express as long as the shotgun was held level,i tried tipping the barrel up and down and racking the slide and they jammed up.They are neet little rounds but expensive,i paid 20.00 for 20 rnds. From what i read in a old copy of guns and weapons of law enforcement they were intended for a pump shotgun that police use in a south american country that looks like a 870 with a 1 shot mag extention and if memory serves me right they held 9 shots.

the mag 7 is a civilian version of a stockless pump action shotgun intended for short-range police and military use. holds 5 rounds in the pistol grip. the barrel is 320mm (13 inches) but overall length is only 550mm which would unfortunately make it restricted in Canada

the longer gun is stated to be "of interest mostly as a curious weapon"
