Has anyone heard from Gunnar at Armco lately?

I have been trying to get a hold of him by phone, email and I even faxed him, but cannot get a response. He has my IPSC gun and I have been trying to get an update to find out when it will come back. I know he's busy but I am starting to wonder if he is on extended vacation or if he is ill or been hurt or something. Last time I heard from him was an email on March 4th. I hope he is okay..... :(
 
Got him via telephone early this morning (first thing). During a several minute conversation I heard his call waiting (signal drop) kick in at least five times, and he spoke to someone else who was there in the shop too...so he is surrounded.

Glad I hooked him though.....got some things underway.
 
I was by two days ago. His phone rang from when I walked in until I left. Happily I only had to wait while he answered half of them. You poor bastards waited for me after that. :D
 
Talked with him yesterday, He is a busy man alright. I think that when you have a guy with some talent you will have to try to catch him when you can, he can't build a reputation like he has by sitting behind the computer all day, I'm sure that when you get a hold of him and get your gun it will be more than worth the wait.

I know, I tried to phone on Saturday and Monday. Don't even know if he's open on the weekend but he didn't pick up on Monday.

*eta* Just got through to him on the phone. He's swamped.

i was at his shop picking up my new SP01:rockOn: .in the hour i was there the phone rang more than a dozen times. nice to live in the same town:), not to rub it in or anything.

why work for free?every call he misses is money lost....and if his phone rings that much he is losing lots of cash.....

Im pretty sure he's backed up like an entire year... so even having someone pick up the phone won't really help move things along.

Really with that much work, he needs another gunsmith by his side. Maybe someone to handle smaller/quicker jobs or something.

true , but even having someone just pick up the phone and take a message or say they're busy would really alievate frustration. I recieved my layoff notice to day, he's got my 629 seting the barrel back and slicking up a norc commander for me. I desperatley want to pay for these before I run out of cash.....I wish I could just talk to him:(
