has anyone in BC had any luck boar hunting this year?

I'm just looking for details on where and when is prime for boar hunting in BC.
I have never attempted a boar hunt so any and all advice would be appreciated.

Do you mean black bear?
Go to Hope or Boston Bar area and start up into the hills, southfacing slopes in 3-5 year old logging slashes. The bears will be coming out to feed on the newest green growth on those south slopes.
Spot and stalk.

too mcuh boars in usa. not in bc i believe. but yes black bears everywhere. shot one in my garbage dump last year since it tried to charge at one of my guest.
