Has anyone made a Stainless Steel Tumbler or modified something to work?

I was just wondering, since we reload for a few different reasons, has anyone "made" a SS Tumbler. Or has everyone on here purchased manufactured ones? I mean from a mechanical aspect it does not seem to hard to do if the right parts are kicking around. Also has anyone tried to use SS media in one of those smaller 5 gallon plastic tub cement mixers that you see sometimes at Princess Auto. I know that the cement mixer would be rather large for some dwellings and more than likely noisy, but can you imagine the volume of brass that could be done in a single evening........

Also what is the consensus on "pins" vs "other shape" stainless media

This website has to have the worst search engine ever invented. There are lots of people that have put up examples of homemade tumblers but when you search very few come up. If you use google to search the site low and behold there are about a dozen at least. Anyway here is mine with the math explained on how to choose the correct pulley size etc. It works great and I have done 100's of batches in it so far without a hiccup. Only thing I changed from this design is to put a roller bearing stop on each end to prevent the drum from ever falling off the tumbler.
