Has anyone modified the loading port on a Rem 870?

I’m in the process of filing and Dremelling out the loading port on my Beretta 1301 Comp for next seasons 3-gun competitions.

I was wondering if anyone has worked on the loading port of their “pump guns”? If so, pics please... I have 2 (two) Rem Police sluggers which are begging, to have some custom Port work done. Thx in advance for your pic submissions.
 
Don't #### with something an engineer designed back in the 60's and that works very well. Spend your time doing something more productive like being with your family, shooting, watching TV, drinking beer, etc. My 2 pennies

Thank you for the posts.

I know S & J as well as TacOrd custom machine-in the port modifications. I was just wondering if any member has, “DIY home customized “ their own manual receivers?

The custom modification seems to be reserved for semi-auto shotties. Even at the (relatively few) 3-gun competitions that I have seen, anyone shooting in the Heavy Metal division, haven’t opened up the port on their pump action shotguns. I’m not sure if it’s a regulation preventing the port modification in that division.

So if you’ve modified your manual receiver, pls let me know. Thx again in advance for you kind contributions and pics.
