Looks like an early nineties Stainless Gold Cup with a beavertail and extended safety, no idea what they're worth. They also made this gun in Commander length. When they were new they were about $1200. AMT didn't sell as many guns in Canada as Colt, I've seen a few AMT's but usually the other models (long slides and odd calibres). It would probably be easier (and possibly better) to get a stainless GC and have it worked a bit.

AMTs don't have a very good reputation. I would look for another stainless 1911 with comparable features.

hmmmm an AMT, I have never seen one (except on the web).

I picked this up earlier this spring, a Colt Gold Cup.

Its pretty close to what you are looking for, but not the same, and I have no idea where you can find one..... I bought the last one where I found this one.

I had exactly the same model of Colt Gold Cup in stainless steel that I bought from Williams Arms. Unfortunately I sold the gun back to the dealer and bought a Beretta shotgun instead. Then I regretted it but he'd already resold it to someone else. I ended up buying a blued version of the same design of Colt Gold Cup from Arms East.

No dealer I know of has any stock of new Colts 1911s any more.
