Hard to say, brass would occasionally hit the windage turret on my Mk4 in medium ARMS 22 rings on an ARMS 18. Have a Bushy LRHS now but haven't put enough rounds through to notice. For what it's worth after 4k+ rounds there was some marking on the bottom of the windage turret on my Mk4 but nothing I'd consider a big deal.
I'm worried the ejecting brass will hit my windage turret. I'm using an A.R.M.S. 18 mount with A.R.M.S. 22 low rings and a Nightforce 2.5-10X24 with zero stop.
Depends on the M14. What bolt are you using? GI internals? Some of the commercial ejectors and extractors from SAI or Norinco can cause non-typical ejection angles that can be cured by putting in GI springs and parts.
