Has anyone replaced their crappy Vortex Strikefire caps?

Those impossible to close Vortex Strikefire lens caps are driving me crazy! I would like to replace them with a clear set that fits better - probably Butler Creek Blizzards.

Has anyone done this and if so, what brand/size did you buy?

when you find out, let me know. i've resorted to leaving them up all the time.

I finally replaced those horrible Vortex caps with Butler Creek Blizzards.

The front cap is an 04 Blizzard 1.5-1.59" and fits without shimming.

The smaller rear objective is an 02 Blizzard 1.3-1.39" and requiring shimming with a little tape.

Either way they are miles better than the originals.

Anyone want to buy a set of original Strikefire caps? - $100
