Has anyone seen a good deal on a TRG 22?

What kind of deal are you looking for? At what price is it a good deal? I sold one for $2700 and wish I hadn't.

They are hardly justifiable in 308 as the cartridge does not do that platform justice. The 42 in 300wm is a fine rifle.

in 308 its boring. aren't they being used in UIT comps and cleaning up????

I'd probably go for a phosphorus coated one but shooting edge wants 4300 with a rail. P&D sounds like the best deal.

My build is turning into a #### show and I just want something accurate and reliable.

Thats why I bought an AI. Just as accurate as a custom rifle I have and much more reliable. I had a TRG 22 and had to sell it. Its a long story. I still cry when I think about it. Hope you get your hands on one because you won't be disapointed.

4300??? are you sure that is the 22?? I bet its not. if you find one anywhere near 3k buy it. TSE has tan parkerized one in stock for 4100. I bet they sell it for $3700 if you ask nice.

You can call Clay at Prophet River and have one imported from the U.S. for under $400 all in plus cost of rifle and taxes, Taxes will be 12%, GST and Euro Duty.

I called TSE and all they had was the black phos 22 with the factory rail for 4300.

I did send Clay an email yesterday but I think it might take to long.

Are there cheaper versions of AI? The ones Wolverine has in are $7000!

I'm also waiting to hear back from PGW.

You will not be dissapointed if you decide to get one.

My Coyote just arrived on Monday and the fit and finish is outstanding. I haven't had a chance to shoot her yet because I still have not made any ammo. My father passed away early this morning from cancer, so I suspect that it will be a few days before I'll get to the range.

Unfortunately, no - AI's are not cheap.

If you want an AI, I would suggest you build on from the ground up and if you can, go at it with lightly used parts.

That's what I did for my Surgeon AI build. The only new pieces to it is the new AX AICS stock and the soon-to-arrive Atlas bipod.

The rest - Surgeon 591 action, Jewell trigger and Kreiger barrel (less then 100 rounds, so brand new still) were all from uthe used market.

All together I'm still under $3,500.

A PGW would be a really sweet rig, there's no question there!!
