Has anyone seen a scope mount like this?

Just wondering what everyone's take is on this scope mount.
For the life of me I can't figure out what it was used on. It's similar to some SKS type mounts but it has a dovetail mount to attach to the gun. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Had something similar on an old 22 that my grandpa had. Was a post reticle scope with external adjustments. I can take some pictures when I go visit this summer.

Did you even read the articles? It is a custom made movie prop manufactured by Bapty & co. in the UK. Some mounts were reproduced in the USA for the replica market.

Not to be an ass but that is just a theory. There's a lot more research behind that mount then is described in those articles which are all based on people's theories. Most of the items for that pistol have been found, apart from the mount. Some people believe it to be a one-off where other's believe it to be a found item. Seeing as the original pistol was lost at one point, no one knows.
