I'm curious to how it preforms. Whispering has it placed better then the 452's and I wan a random person on the internet to confirm... lol

With pictures of course !

Smells like hype... CZ corporate hype... to quote from CZUB's website on this model:

"In addition, measurements revealed that in practice such shortening of a barrel leads only to a minimum reduction in muzzle velocity and has no real effect on accuracy. On the contrary, it became apparent that due to the new system of barrel anchoring, the new 455s are slightly more accurate than most CZ 452/453 models."

Or are these fitted with "select" barrels cut with a fresh, sharp reamer?

The CZ 455 Jaguar uses the same receiver as all 455's. The barrel mounting system is the same as well. The barrel has a 6 groove bore (FWIW) and is 28.5" long. On the face of it, there doesn't seem to be any reason to think that it is any more accurate than any other 455's. One thing that is worth noting is that the Jaguar has tangent sights.

CZ says of the longer barrel "those couple of inches of extra length contribute to somewhat higher bullet energy and to its better stability when shooting over longer distances. These two factors are significant when you use the .22 LR cal. rifle for hunting purposes, for example for varmint control." There doesn't seem to be any chest thumping about superlative accuracy.

Smells like more hype and marketing ploy, stumbled across this little test on RFC

A barrel that length may in fact contribute to velocity loss.

The longer barrel on the Jaguar is going to give you a longer sight radius when using iron sights, which will contribute to better accuracy. If using a scope it's likely a moot point.

The old ultra Lux is nice.
Haven't tried the 455 version.
Having the 452 long barrel puts you in the super exclusive club of awkward rifle owners. This type of storage and handling requirement is usually left to shotguns. Be prepared to store disassembled or move the shelves in your lock up.
But it does get you a few inches closer to the target.
