Has it been done? Converting SKS to 9x39mm

I was wondering if anyone has ever converted an SKS to 9x39mm.

Looks like an interesting cartridge currently used by Ukraine/Russia.

It could be called SKS Vintorez or VSS Simonov.

You'd need a chamber reamer and a bore reamer. If the SKS barrel is pressed into the receiver, good luck getting it off without damage. Secondly, remember the barrel walls are optimized for light duty firing cycles (by expendable peasants). Do you want to take that risk?

You shared the chambering so what? The OP asked if anyone has converted one, so I shared a video I recently seen of one converted. Exactly like he was wondering. I didn’t just discover it, just jot a forum I frequent. Commie name, 541 posts, every one sks related. #### it’s one of those dorks…
