I see these sporting stock semi autos are now in the same price range as the mossberg pump. I've had a couple of those over the years for my own use, but now my kids are getting big enough to shoot a .410.
Anyone here own a hatsan .410 sporting style semi auto? Very tempted to trade up from the single shot I bought last year.

Bumping this up. I bought the walnut stock model and I'm not impressed. It can't get through 3 or 4 shells without a failure to feed. It had a sharp edge on the extractor cut out in the barrel that was actually slicing into the shells. I dulled the edge a little with the a needle file but it's still hanging up on the ramp or slipping out of the extractor and jamming. Tried handloads, 2 1/2" and 3" factory loads. Nothing works.
Really wishing I'd bought the mossberg. Anyone have one of these? will it break in eventually?

I've heard the same with the Tristar viper 410 semi auto. No experience with either first hand though
I have the Tri-Star viper,410 love the gun,
but it seems to Jam up
Not in the chamber but the shellsJam up together. I've been told to run a box of heavy load or shoot some slugs and she should be fine after I've done this doesn't seem much better.
Maybe I'll cycle another box. Tru it
I also have a double barrel side-by-side two triggers love this one for Partridge hunting
