So been looking online the the escort shotguns, does anyone know for sure if they are the same frame as the Fabarm shotguns TSE imports, because they sure look the same. just cheaply made.
Just wondering if the parts we make for the Fabarms will fit.
May have to go buy a few to try out.

The Fabarm is a high quality Italian made gun & is in all likelyhood the best kept secret on the market because they have never had a really good marketing program with a week dristribution system in North America. For example, Caesar Guerini actions and barrels are made by Fabarm and while Fabarm has languished with week or inexperienced distributors here, Guerini put together a great marketing program and is enjoying great gains. While there are some quality guns coming out of Turkey today, Hatsan/escort are at the very bottom in quality and reliability.

yep got that .
But what i,m asking is the fabarm pump and semi auto shotguns TSE sells look from the info i have found online to be very close to the cheaper escort Hastan pumps and semi auto shotguns.
What i,m trying to find out is if the Escort is just a cheaper Fabarms.
We do make a handfull of Fabarms gun parts and i want to know if they will fit.
As we ant to make more of them and lower the prices.
If i have to ill go out and buy one just wondered if anyone had hard info on that.

Hey Grouser.

Your comment about the reliability of the Hatsan shotguns... Is this based on personal experience? The reviewer from the Shooting Times seemed to like it.

Any more details would be appreciated as I'm looking at one of these in a pump. I've looked at the Mossy 535 and The Rem 870 and the fore stock is a long, uncomfortable reach for guys my size. The fore stock on the Hatsan Optima has to be a good 3" closer.

Thanks

I have ran a couple hundred rounds threw my Hatsan and have not had a lick of trouble. For $279 from Frontier Firearms I think that these things are a great deal. Sure they are not as smooth as my sx3 or as pretty as my 525 but for a cheap workhorse that you don't have to be worried about scratching or getting dirty they are perfect.

You rotten son-of-a-no-good...........:D

I bought my Hatsan MarineEscort with the top folding stock from Canadian Tire (on S. Macleod Tr. in Calgary) for $449!

It's not intended to be a bird gun. I'm going to carry it, loaded with slugs, when me and my hunting buddies go scouting (mama bear can get quite pissed off and charge me and my buddies) in the Kananaskis country of Alberta.
