Hey, Question: is the 'carry handle' on the semi version -Removable? I see it advertised at other site sponsor: HEBA1220BLK-same model in their description says -detachable carry handle - in your description it says -Integrated- Perhaps not a 'quick' removable handle, but via removing screws etc maybe, while still remaining functional? If you want to remove the carry handle, your probably in the market for the railed version.

I do like the rail, just nice to have the option of 'best of both Worlds', if I wanted to remove & add a rail kinda thing. Looks like the 'railed only', is exact same, except for the carry handle. {& it's less expensive..} Some Descriptions say 'DETACHABLE', some say 'INTERGRTED'..so, it's a bit confusing. I probably wouldn't even bother to remove, depends how 'high' the point of aim on that thing is for closer range.
MEHH- maybe just save $500 more & wait for the SPAS lol

It does look like hey both use the same mounting points, the trick would be sourcing the rail and possibly hardware to mount it if you buy the plastic handle version.
