I found this gun on badger arms for 419.00 and I am thinking of buying it. Only problem is it has a 18" barrel. Does that not make it a restricted shogun?

Restriction is based on overall length, not barrel length. 26 inches is the magic number

when did you do your firearms course ? my book says - "Restricted" - a firearm that is not a prohibited firearm , has a barrel less than 470mm (18 1/2 ") in length and discharges centerfire ammunition in a semi automatic manner.

I just bought one from SMacDonald (cedar valley hunting) and it is non-restricted.

Havn't fire it yet but looks and feel great especially for the price

I am surpise the finishing was so impressive on this low price semi.
