Just trying to find out if anyone has any trigger time on this gun, what your thoughts are.
Also would like to know if the magazines are proprietary or they compatible with the mag fed Turkish guns coming out?

I have MPA and an MP and both are fantastic and both are for sale right now so I can afford a Raider lol. Ive been wanting a Raider since last year. Glad to see they are finally in Canada! So far prices are around $700. As of a couple weeks ago SFRC (where I bought my mpa from) had no idea what the raider was, it was pretty pathetic lol. I emailed Wolverine about getting me one in and am waiting for a reply.... I was wanting to hear a range review myself, based on the quality/value of their other stuff I don't see why it wouldn't be positive.

SFRC should have some of the Escort Raiders in stock. They don't show on their website, but we shipped them 5 a few weeks ago.

Restricted or not I'd prefer an auto defender!

Like I said, they had no idea what it was. lol

That's correct...I didn't know what they were....unfortunately I can't know what every product on the market is. We now have them and they should be on the website later in the week.

I didn't expect you to know every gun on the market... I did figure you might have googled it though. No worries other dealers did the research for me.

Awesome thanks, I spoke with someone I know who said he could not wait to get rid of his Hatsan... but like anything mechanical it could have a "monday morning or friday after noon" gun. I really like the idea of a good reliable mag fed semi auto in the NR category.

Do you have any info on extra magazine price or availability? Are the magazines proprietary or will any of the magazines for the current line of Turkish autoloaders be compatible?

Hi
Well iv got abit of a think of riot/attics /police shotguns. Over 200 in my colection

I'll day thus hatsan gun are well made .but they orc the importer seems to have missed the boat. I think someone was asleep at the last 2,3 shotshow and IWA.
To say the brand has missed the boat is an understaintment.
They are being spanked like a naughty school girl, by there compatition. Both in price available product design and understanding of what clients want.
Uzkon Derya and alpha arms and Ata are cleaning up in Canada. When hunting season comes this year .I'm sure those brands will take the Turkish shotgun market away from hatsan. Unless the importer starts to market the product and be more open to orders from dealers such as myself.
Don't get me wrong. Hatsan makes some good products. And we have made some good money off of all of the aftermarket parts we have made for these guns.
It just seems the brand needs a new x price point and marketing campaign

Thank you, no disrespect intended but it seems to be middle of the road in price point at $725. CDN plus tax compared to the Alpha Arms @ $555.00 (introductory price) from Wolverine, the Derya at $1050 to 1100 CDN from SFRC & Frontier Firearms. I won't speak to your relationship with the distributor because I can't, if the marketing and import availability is an issue then I think it is understandable given the negativity towards "Black guns" in general and the difficulty with FRT ( hesitation with putting out the overhead cost for the firearm only to have it re-classed and losing out on prospective buyers). I don't envy any firearm purveyors in this country for that reason, it is a slim market to begin with.
While aesthetics play a minor role for me as a purchaser, they play a larger role with classification and the last thing I want is a firearm other than a pistol relegated solely to the range (especially in a shotgun). In my subjective opinion I think the Raider actually looks better and comes standard with sights that I would want on that type of shotgun thus not requiring much or any customization. Again just my opinion the carry handle and front post sights on the above mentioned guns do not particularly impress me and not just for the appearance but also the fact that they are removable which would force the buyer to add their own. But I digress I'm really looking for input on its functionality and magazine availability... though the fact it is not terribly popular will speak to availability of spare parts for repair.
