Hatsan Magazine Extension Tube...FINALLY FOUND ONE THAT FITS>

Has anyone had any success finding a magazine extension tube for their Hatsan Semi Shotgun.

There was a dealer here that was manufacturing them, I ordered it and it arrived it didn't fit at all. I sent the thing back to them and haven't heard a word
from them since.

I'd really like to get one... I hear the Benelli nova ext. tube fits with the addition of an o-ring... anyone else here get one?

Found a company that has them, ordered one, they fit and they function perfectly. And as an added bonus they actually return e-mails.

You don't have to change a thing to make it illegal, un screw the cap, thread this on... Result... Badass looking hatsan.


My only complaint if I wanted to be that anal about it... the finish is more "blued" the finish on the hatsan is more a matte finish... but hey... I'm happy that it fits so I really don't care.

It's a Knights... you can go to SFRC who is a distributor of their fine products. Their site shows several in stock.

The name's of the different models are confusing at first. BBB, you did a good job explaining what your mag tube extension fits. As did you Mr Chemist, although I admit I am confused as to how yours seems to fits on everything though when I've heard they have different thread types. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm some what unclear on this as I've only handled the Escort MPA.
 
Maybe a picture would help put things into perspective.

This is the S&J Hardware Magtube I purchased for my Hatsan MPA-TS... This is as far as the tube would screw down.. clearly not far enough... Perhaps it was designed for a different model??

I sent this picture and others to S&J and as far as I know they are working at getting the correct ones made however I don't know that for sure as I have not received any recent updates.

 
Garbal, does your receiver have "Optima" or "Escort Magnum" on the side? My bet is "Optima" I just got off the phone with Simon at S&J. He explained how it works, basically the Optima is the sporting receiver with the tactical stuff added as the Turks got overwhelmed with orders for their tactical shotguns and used one of their sporting gun receivers to back fill. Difference between the two being, the marking on the side and the mag tube threading. The "Optima" are the catch up different threading receivers.

I was wondering how the Optima's were able to take 5 2 3/4" shells out of the box where as the Escort's are just shy of allowing 5.
Looks like the Optima's have a longer tube.
