So I bought one of those ATI Talon adjustable stock kits to throw on my Hatsan MP-A shotgun. Removed the screws from the recoil pad, then removed two more screws to remove the innards. then a long extension to remove a nut off the stock bolt. A nut, a lock washer and a washer all came out, and the stock is off.

Now, I need to twist out the nut and bolt that's threaded out the back of the receiver. Is there a trick to this?? I gave it a go a few times but it seems like it's in there pretty good, didn't budge. Is there something I'm missing here? Do they use some sort of thread lock or loc-tite from the factory, and I'll need heat? Any thoughts appreciated.

I installed my Talon on a regular Aimgaurd model so didn't encounter your issue. The stock bolt and nut came out and I attached the ATI hex bolt no prob.
Being a MP model, there may be another attachment method used.

Not sure, but maybe the Canadian Hatsan importer and warranty facilitator can help.

^^^ I'll send them an e-mail to see what they can tell me. I did try a bit of heat, but nothing too crazy. If it was steel I'd feel much better, but heating up and strong arming aluminum is not in my thinking the best course.

Quick on the draw answering e-mails!! About 30 minutes later I received a reply. They basically advised to take it to a gunsmith though, so I'll try some acetone (assuming some type of thread lock) and go from there.

Let it have a soaking of wd-40 for a day and gave it a go again. Still quite hard to turn but she came off. The problem (I believe) was a not quite smooth surface on the nut tightened to the receiver, sort of little burrs. Sure held on good!
