anyone have one of these? i'm looking at one, but i will only consider it if it is reliable.

There is a small but growing customer base for the Hatsan MP-A in here because for the money they are the least expensive semi auto to purchase new.

Mine has been reliable @ 3100 rounds & lots of shotgun events.

The MP-A was fired intentionally with some light cheep loads (-3drams) to see if they would cycle during the break in period.. it cycled flawless. Unlike my Benelli M4 that required break in with 3dram loads - in its defense however the M4 uses an entirely different cycling system.

As you can see by these pics however I have modded the MP-A to my personal needs for the shotgun runs that I do(3gun & IPSC). So its all possible with this shotty like the more common 870 for modification too.

Oh come on.. How about some "Mirror Commando" ones!! :D :D

Actually I only respond with pics to anyone here asking about any of the shotguns I have and sharing info and yes pics.

In this case it was about the MP-A

Yes you have seen the pics be4 and that matter means nothing to me but the person inquiring on the Hatsan has most likely has not and probably wouldnt mind photos to help figure out what they need answering to..in fact it often leads to other questions about the MP-A ie: where can I get an extended tube for it?

I see it as detailed informing as best as what I can since I too had to start somewhere with this hobby and good help is difficult to find.

Personally I think its other issues on your part since this is not the first time you decided to make similar trite comments but if you have that much time to waste with negative comments then knock yourself out.

Im just here cause I like shotguns and also not a hater of people reshowing pics if they need info.

Relax man, I was only yanking your chain, hence all the " :D " 's. LOL

I would, however, like to see some footage of you shooting 3 gun with it sometime if you have some. I haven't tried that with it yet. Next on the list for it.

I like shotguns too, but I also like to have some fun.

Here's mine :D

PS - if someone had asked me for a mirror commando picture, I would have provided one just for sh!t's and giggles.. LOL

I think I still got my big afro wig around somewhere, it would look pretty funny.. no?? :D

Wondering if you as owners of this bit of kit can clarify for me. Is this MP-A in fact a NR firearm or is it restricted? I see conflicting info on retailers sites stating an 18"bbl with 5+1 and another with 4+1, then I see the 20" on the manf site claiming 7+1 which is poo-poo'd by the powers to be yet the 20" is also avbl here, with modification to restrict capacity I assume:confused:. I dont even see a listing for it in the FRT.
Thx in advance
