Hatsan MP... semi or manual?

Good evening gents, I'm looking at the possibility of picking up my first shotgun in the next few weeks and I think I've pretty much narrowed my choices down to Hatsan's offerings... problem is that I don't know whether to go the autoloader route, or for a more traditional pump-action. As someone who owns a couple semi-auto rifles already I figure I'd feel right at home with the MPA- however I also feel like broadening my horizons and trying out a manual action for once. Furthermore it might be worth saying that I don't plan to hunt with it, so it'll be strictly a range toy (unless someone develops a proper choke for the external threads).

Any opinions or advice would be much appreciated!

I personally own and prefer the Hatsan pumps, but both are of equal quality and have their own fun factor.
A lot of the MP pumps sold now are 7+1, so the higher capacity of the pump is a nice aspect.
I honestly think it's a preference thing though.

Have had fun and good luck so far with my Hatsan semi. It's just a range toy/3-gun toy for me, I have plenty of other shotguns for hunting purposes.

As a general rule - and this applies to all shotguns, not just Hatsan - Semis will be more maintenance. Have to make sure the gas system is clean, etc., to make sure it functions properly. Pumps... Can be more reliable in the long haul, are generally less maintenance. One of my pumps I intentionally didn't clean for a little over a year and well north of 1000 rounds of various loads, and it never missed a beat. I wouldn't do that with a semi auto.

My Hatsan, with mods from both sjhardware and corwin-arms, and a blast of BBQ paint to make it match my AR:

What kind of barrel choke that come in OEM hatsun shotgun?

The shotgun is cylinder bore. It comes with a muzzle brake (in the picture), or a thread protector if you don't care to use the muzzle brake.

To be honest, I've tried it both with and without the brake, and not noticed any giant difference in recoil or muzzle lift. I just prefer the look with the brake.
