Can it be swapped for a one piece? I am not a fan of the two piece "FAST" design. Sometimes when I am loading and it doesn't latch into the mag tube it will spring back under the big gate and over top of the little latch thing. Super annoying and hard to clear...it would be sweet to swap in a something like this...

I know close to nothing about lifters,loaders... (see i don't even know what they are called!)

I know on the MPA the "small one" closes the bolt and the "big one" lifts the shells...is that even possible the replace with a one piece then? This is the only semi auto shotty I own so I am not sure how the others work that have the smooth nice awesome ones...

Any thoughts you guys?

Probably not worth it(if possible) would be my guess.
If it really bothers you it would be simpler to get a different gun.
It will make you a better loader.... :)

I notice with my mpa that there seems to be 2 clicks when stuffing a shell into the mag. If it doesn't click twice your gonna have an issue like you are experiencing. A little practice and you won't even notice the issue any more. I find the mpa and hatsans to be fast and smooth to load

Can you actuate the gate release with the side or rim of the shell as you bring it upwards and forwards?

Has anyone opened up the feeding area on their MPA in the area I indicated by removing some metal from the receiver ?
I saw it done on a different make of shotgun that a guy in our club competes with and it seemed to help speed up the reloads .
And I wear gloves now as I found my thumb gets sore trying to jam in the shells until the second click is heard

I opened up the feeding area on mine tonight. I find it easier to load now as my thumb has more room .
