Does a anyone have any experience with these? I bought one on a whim yesterday, it seemed a good price, and its a 20g, good for my wife to start with shotguns. It seems nice, pin punches hard. It needed some cleaning and a quick lube job, but its smooth as butter now. How do they shoot? Are they solid? Are they reliable? Any known issues? I tried looking it up but found very little, that concerned me a bit. I really wanted an H&R, but couldn't find one locally.

You found very little because there is very little out there. Made in turkey where they make weatherby apparently, all their desgins look taken from other manufacturers.

HATSAN is the only authorized processor of Mossy Oak to camouflage Mossy Oak patterns in Turkey. Only raw material comes to HATSAN and the end product is the high quality & durable product. Raw materials that are used in HATSAN are of very high quality, like Turkish walnut and very high quality steel.

HATSAN has a very well established 34000 m² production area, 500 workers and a machine park of total 500 machinery including
high-tech Computer Numerical Controlled Machines. HATSAN is the unique air gun manufacturer and the best known shotgun manufacturer of Turkey since 1976.

So if they can produce actions and barrels for all those other manufacturers which sell for over a grand, I'm pretty confident a little single shot won't be much of a problem for them. They're not Remington.

These Hastan folding single shots will be available in Mossy Oak camo come summer. The 12GA and the 20GA will also come with 3 screw in chokes.

Nice, that give me a little more confidence. The gun itself seems good quality, nice wood, and nice metal. Looks like I missed the screw in chokes, but like I said, I got it cheap. It was only $170ish at a bigger retail store. They had a 12G for the same price, but I have a browning bps in 12G.This should be a great start for my wife (and someday my kid), and a fun little toy for myself, now I guess I will have to take it out and see how it patterns.

The screw in chokes ones are a new addition to this line up. The shipment scheduled for summer delivery is the first ones coming into the country.

Yeah it seems the one I got is cylinder choke. No big deal. I wasn't looking for something with chokes or a lot of bells and whistles, I just wanted something that was compact, fold up or take down, and shot smaller shells. That's why I was looking into H&R. I will post a couple pics later.
