Hatsan shotgun part compatibility with Remington 870 parts?

Hey guys,

I own an hatsan escort optima and as cool as it is, I might think of swapping out the furniture for wood parts. I've heard rumors that the escort is a clone of the 870 and that certain parts are interchangeable. Any one have experience or can validate that? Thanks!

They are not alike.
Parts are interchangeable between the Escort and the Optima but not the 870.

Hatsan's follow Weatherby patterns, as a rule.

Most of their semi-autos have a lot of parts compatibility with the SA-08 (including the bolt group).

If I was looking for compatibility for their pumps, I would look to the PA-08, although I'm not specifically sure about these (have a Hatsan semi, but not one of their pumps).
