Does anyone have an opinion on the Hatsan Silver synthetic O/U?

one of my suppliers in bringing some in next moth so I am looking for some opinions on them. I handled one the other day and they seem like a nice gun.

I will admit it is a cool looking shotgun, but I am more of a traditionalist. I prefer walnut over synthetic, especially in an over/under shotgun. However, if it is a solid performing gun, I wouldn't mind to try one. Always on the lookout for a new piece!

They do make a walnut one, its the exact same gun in walnut, I would be curious as to the price increase on the wold stocked gun. Over all the description sounds great about the gun.

They make a Silver Select that has a wood stock. The only difference is no adjustable comb. I will look into the cost.

How does the Comb adjustment work? I only see 1 adjustment hole. There is usually 2 or 3.

After looking at and holding a Hatsan Marine Escort series pump I would be skeptical about the fit and finish even of their O/U guns. The marine model I held today was priced at $439 for a pump that felt like a toy gun, and the quality didn't seem to show any better, the stock materials feel cheap and brittle.

Just my opinion, I hope you can sell a couple O/U's and change my opinion. That gun was priced higher than a brand new 870 Express, and the 870 express was of way higher quality.

$750 seems steep for a plastic turkish O/U.
for nearly $100 less you can get the Stoeger Condor 12/20 two barrel set
or the premium Condor competition with AA grade walnut stocks.
the plain Condor is $485.

not saying the Condor is a great gun - ive never owned one - but the price for a Turkish plastic gun from an even more budget company than Stoeger seems a bit off the curve.

I like the concept of a 'new school' O/U. I run a FABARM Axis for clays (just my thing) but if this was a quality shotgun I have to admit I really like the idea of it.

Just my love of shotguns speaking...

I did read around the internets and this brand of SG is considered not that great. I have no personal experience so cant comment. The pics look great though!

The price is pretty good considering the options. I am looking forward to a review.
