I have a Model 70. When I got it, my intention was to shoot it to failure without service to see how it stood up. I have since put something over 13,00 pellets through it with no issues yet.
I found the trigger to be a bit heavy and long so I reduced the sear engagement by about 50% and polished the meeting surfaces to clear up that issue but I make no recommendation that this is a safe procedure.
It depends on the model and age of the gun whether your trigger can be modified since there have been some changes over time.
I have had different air guns in the shop and I think the Hatsans stand very well compared to those in the same price range.
