As the thread title says, have Boyds dicontinued dealing with canadian customers?

Its now the weekend, and i cannot contact them as to wether this is true or heresay.

I hope not! I want to get thier pro varmint stock!

You can still choose Canada as the billing and shipping address at checkout. What makes you think they have stopped shipping to Canada?

How are the Pro Varmint stock? I have a T3 barreled action that needs a home, I've been waiting for AI to come out with the new version of the AX chassis for the T3 but who knows how long that will be. The price on these boyds is tempting.

I am working up in fort mac, and was talking to a friend who was in the local gun store. A fellow told him that boyds recently stopped dealing with canadian customers.

I friggin HATE people who B.S!!!! Its terribly irritating!

This is the stock configuration I am going to go with:

I want to fit this stock with the adjustable cheek piece like in this picture:

I am mounting my Rem 700, 308 win. Varmint barreled action into it. It will be a real nice, stable combo!

I hate the "tacticool" name, but the design is a solid concept.

How do you like it? Show us some pictures if you can.

Been great so far, have about 50 rounds through with the current setup. I did add a TAC pro cheek riser. Fit was great, didn't have to modify a thing. I was a little nervous with the atlas trigger guard but all was good.

Ordered one on Friday night with no issues, these are fantastic stocks for the price. I decided to try and add a adjustable butt plate to one. It turned out pretty good. ImageUploadedByCanadianGunNutz1430031491.458541.jpg

Adjustable cheek rest with a thumb wheel is in now too I just haven't taken a pic yet

Very nice. I had wondered about fitting something like that to the tacticool stock.

It's a bit of work but that's the third one I've done now. I just finished another tonight that I'm pretty happy with ImageUploadedByCanadianGunNutz1430107607.437383.jpg

I copied Boyd's adjustable cheek rest hardware and put a two way butt plate on it

I just received one yesterday, from date of order to date of arrival was less than a month. I paid $36 customs fees, no big deal at all. All in my Pro Varmint with Boyds adjustable cheek piece was just about $300 for stock, shipping, custom and currency exchange, a LOT less than a McMillan!

Shawn 338, nice work on the adjustable butt system! Would you consider doing that on my Boyd's Stock?

Really love to see the setup with the Boyds adjustable piece. Thinking of going the same route.
