So I have been thinking about buying a Mossberg 464SPX for a while now, there is just something about the old meeting the new that appeals to me, and I just noticed that Wholesale Sports has them instock but they have it listed as a "restricted item". Did I somehow miss this being reclassed for some reason?

I had to explain to the on-line customer service people that the Buckmark .22 rifle I purchased was not a restricted firearm before they would release it to shipping...

the new website has a few mistakes in it. There is fly tying equipment under reloading supplies. Don't take a misplaced item on the new website as a change to status of a firearm

I was looking online for a 28" pump shotgun with a vent rib a few days ago, and it was also marked "This item is restricted."

I called and asked too. As all firearms show as restricted item. It's the new site. Not restricted in terms of the firearm but as the transaction as it requires a pal to check out.

Exactly. Beyond terrible. I had a 464 marinecote and a 464 SPX, terrible slop on the lever, extractor so flimsy they break epidemically. A guy I know, we bought our SPX's the same time, his extractor broke 6 rounds in. Mossberg will fix it. Just be prepared for a long wait.
