I spent almost two years of my earlier military career there in the foreign technology wing, playing with the funky Swedish S-Tank - StrV-S - among others. If you are ever near, the only working Tiger I, captured in Libya, lives there - you might even see it prowling around.

Thanks for the tanks, definitely a place to visit with LOTS of time to absorb it all. Bovington got it right with the floor space used well. It makes my blood boil to see all the open space at the CWM set aside for wine and cheese parties (really) they just plain did not make the Lebreton Gallery the right size (larger) right from the start. Another thing I like about the vehicles displayed at Bovington is the mounting of MGs on turrets and some light kit such as helmets and packs. It certainly adds something to the vehicle on display. Again why the CWM does the bare minimum is beyond me, they park a vehicle inside the gallery and think "hey jobs done" and do not go that extra bit.
