Have you always wanted an MP5K-ish gun?- Introducing the Lusa 9mm Restricted!

Please clear your CGN inbox, it's full. Can't leave a msg. ;-)

I just spoke with Spencer, but he didn't mention an update on my Lusa order status. We were talking about a 3rd party import order I have ongoing. You or he can call me back if you want, if you have a Lusa update for me. Or even an email update works.
Cheers. ;-)

I just received mine in the mail.

It's a lot bigger than I was expecting and that's a good thing. Has some heft to it.

The magazine has been drilled twice for pinning but it's done pretty cleanly. The magazine was a very tight fit at first but when I looked down the mag-well there appeared to be rust in it. I sprayed it with WD40 and rubbed at it. Some of it came off. The magazine is still tight but it's getting better.

I'm not thinking its rust anymore though. Maybe it's just discoloration because of the welding of sheet metal. I found more of it in the upper receiver and it also didn't behave like rust when I tried to remove it. I'm not concerned about it.

Take down is a snap. It didn't come with takedown instructions and I see why. It's a very simple firearm outside of the trigger group.

I'm pleased with it. Should become a rare firearm one day.

I wrote this on my iPhone so sorry if it's got errors

Im sorry guys there was a mistake on our part in the US. Our US staff thought these were classified as a pistol on Canada (like the USA) and some of the magazines were pinned to 10 rounds in the USA before it was caught. The ones that were pinned to 10 rounds had to be re-pinned to 5 in the USA before export as this firearm is classified as a rifle in Canada (which is good because once we get in the stocks and 18.75" barrels they can be converted to non-restricted. A pistol will always be restricted). Sorry for the extra holes in some of these mags.

What no pics?!?!?!?!

That would be well outside of my technical expertise.

You'll like it bfiles.

My partner (Police partner for clarification) was SAS for a number of years and handled the MP5 and MP5K as an issued firearm. I'm anxious to get his opinion on it.

I wouldnt say its comparable to a real HK MP5 in terms of fit and finish, on par with a US made clone maybe.

Cool, I'm excited for this one. Can't wait to play with it.

Now we just need extra mags !!

Any update in that regard??

Our partial order is in the CND shop. Now that we're pretty much done this months export we can get on these. I'll be back in the Canadian shop tomorrow and I'll get on this then.

Initially, I wasn't intent on purchasing additional magazines but given that the LUSA has exceeded my expectations as more than a novelty firearm, I'd like to purchase two additional magazines should they become available.

I've also ordered a single point sling for a more stable shooting platform and will probably forgo the short collapsible stock.

When other forum members receive their LUSA's I'd like to hear someone else's impression of the rust coloured substance in the receiver. I'd greatly appreciate it though I'm not concerned at this time.
