Have you ever broken a firing pin?

It happens, but it's luck of the draw. You could put a million rounds thru one gun and no problems, yet have the same make of gun break one in the first 50 rounds

Although not on a pistol, I have broken firing pins, most recently an 870 in three different places. Shortly after, I busted the ejector, which i'm told, is quite the feat. Shoot your guns often enough, and parts will wear/break. Don't sweat it.

Had a broken one on a Tokarev, it was a used gun so unsure round count. The first time and i mean the first time dry firing it the end of it shot out the barrel lol. Caught me off guard, have never dry fired another one just in case.

Two. A Star M43 Firestar in 9mm after about 1000 rounds. A known problem that was corrected. The new one is going strong. The other was a Glock 19 gen 2 after about 15,000 rounds. The tip chipped and started to pierce primers.

TT-33. Approx 1600rounds from "new"

Having the firing pin wipe all the way across to the edge of the primer on every shot didn't help, I'm sure

2 firing pins on a GSG 1911 22.

Around 8000 Rnds on the first and doing a mag dump, and at about 14000 Rnds for the second.

Haven't replaced it yet.

Also on a Squires Bingham M1600 (.22) at probably around 30 000 Rnds.
