Forgot your ammo for the hunt camp sighting in day!!!

The big bag of ammo is sitting right where I left it this morning...at #@%$^#&& home.

Left the keys to the gun cases on the loading bench, then drove 2 hours to shoot a rifle match......ran it instead!

We got to use them at least.
Scurry back to the landing and found them.
Now they go on the hood.

Last fall I was walking on a trail about 2 miles from my van when I noticed a grouse sitting in a tree only about 15 yards from me. Easy head shot with my CZ .22. I carefully loaded the magazine and wanted to chamber a round when I realized that I left the bolt in the gun case. So, I put my backpack down to mark the spot where the grouse was (of course, I asked the grouse to wait for me ) and walked back to the van for the bolt. When I got there I realized that I left my car keys in the backpack.

When taking 5 or 10 guns to the range I have occasionally forgotten the ammo for one gun. Never happened on a hunting trip though.

went away for a camping trip and realized i forgot the key to my cable lock for my shotgun at home. So i drove down the road and found some old autoshop that looked like something from a horror movie and asked if i could use their bolt cutters, when i told them why they laughed and said no problem.

Lets just say that the last time i got a keyed cable lock with a new gun I disintegrated the lock in a shop press. I dont do keys.
