Have you ever eaten squirrel?

Yes, I've eaten squirrel. In a stew,"cacciatore" style. I also eat pigeons - quite tasty.
 
It tastes alot like dark meat, bird. Chicken and turkey usually. Honestly, I find it depends on each individual squirrel.
 
Squirrel l is pretty good actually but you have to catch a few to make a meal.
I have caught a few that were pretty mangy and hairless; i couldn’t bring myself to eating those ones.
I always inspect them after i shoot them and i try to go for head shots to save on the meat damage.
It may not look like it but a squirrel is one tough critter and ive seen them run away with ½ the lower body missing.
