Have you try subsonic ammo with your GSC STG-44 ?
If yes, is it working ? what kind ?

I've tried it with a 10/22. Turns the rifle into a single shot. Probably the same with the GSG.
Not enough oomph to cycle reliably.

My experience with subs in semi's, the bolt will move back enough to eject then feed a new round into the breech, but it wont #### it, so you hand cycle which ejects an unshot round and its a waste etc, most of my GSG stuff has springs for HV ammo. Havent tried standard velocity mind you.

My SR22 cycles sub sonics

Remington 552 and Browning SA22 both cycle sub sonics like they were made for them .

I shot a lot of rabbits and possums in NZ with a suppressed 10-22 and Australia-made Winchester subsonic. Action cycled just fine.

GSC? No experience with that firearm

I am using Thunderbolts and American Eagle in my STG. After about 250 rounds it needs a quick cleaning or mag will not work in mag housing.
