Having a hard time finding trustworthy Load data for 9.3x57 Mauser

I have looked through all my books and checked the IMR website. No luck. I have lots of 30-31 powder and would like to use that. I was told it has a similar burn rate to I think Norma 201. I don't want to just substitute the norma powder for IMR 30-31 though. If you have it in one of your reloading books could you take a picture of that page for me? I would REALLY appreciate it.

I sold mine recently, regretting it slightly, but when I had it I had settled on 44 or 45 gr. of 4064 with a 285 gr. bullet.

Check out the Swedish Civilaian Arms section of Gunboards. There's a "sticky" right at the top on this subject. I think there were also some threads on the Nitro Express forum and Alberta Outdoorsman. On the latter (and also, I thinnk on the Gunboards link above) there's a fellow named Daryl Saperga from BC (used to be on CGN, too) who's very knowledgeable on this calibre.

Definitely from tradex. I got the set of dies and the bullets from them also. Bulk 285 Gr Prvi. picked up 200 of them. I plan on doing some hunting with this rifle.

To make 9.3x57 brass you would just run 7x57 brass through your resizing die?

Possibly, but 8x57 is easier.

I can do 30-06 to 35 Whelen, but 7mm to 9.3mm would seem to be a stretch.

Glad you found load data , my book didn't have anything for this cal.
