Cz 455 American 17hmr for crows all year
Browning BL22 for rabbits, coons
Savage 220 for deer
Sako A7 .308 for deer
Tikka t3 .300winmag for moose
Tikka t3 .22-250 for coyotes/foxes
Browning Maxus 12guage for Waterfowl
Compound bow for bear, Marlin 35rem for back up
 
May be a marketing ploy but I like individual attributes of various rifles, shotguns, pistols, revolvers & bow. So as I'm acquiring pieces that catch my fancy, I try to fill in with niche calibers it helps justify the purchase to my pea brain. Heck, I've got 4 sons so nothing will be without a home once I get feeble.... ;)

I think my list is as follows - probably missed a couple...

.22 / .22 mag / .223 / 7.62x39 / 25-06 / 30-30 / 38-55 / .308 / 8x57 / 30-06 / .375 H&H / .416 Rigby / 20ga / 12ga / 9mm / .45 / .44 mag and a couple compound bows. Few of the calibers have multiples and I'm grateful always that I was lucky enough to wrangle a career that allows me to dig right into this grand sport....

I have too many and would have to sit down and think about it to remember all I have, or open the safes. I love to hunt big game with different calibres; .308, .300 Win Mag, .257 Wby Mag, .300 Sav, 30-30, .32 Spl, Smoke Pole, .243, .303, etc...
 
22lr, 17hmr, 204, 5.6x52r, 22-250, 6.5x55, 7x57, 308, 8x57, 30-06, 300wm, 45/70, 12 ga, .50ml, 9.3x62 on route. milsurps aren't getting counted for hunting
I only really use the 22lr, 6.5x55, 300wm and 12ga

You have way too mamy rifles... you just need a .22 and a .30/06... sell everything else and buy a nice shotgun.

All industries are a "marketers dream come true"... that is why they are "industries," otherwise they would just be "products," and the Cham-WOW guy would be promoting them on the shopping channel.

12 ga for winged animals and small game. I have 19
10ga for goose. And because it's what a 3.5" shell should be chambered for. 1 sxs
17 mach 2 for squirrel
22 mag for fox and close coyotes
223 for groundhogs and coyote
25/06 for crow groundhog coyote wolf deer caribou and black bear
300 savage
308
300 wm moose and bear and plains game. I have 2
9mm carbine for small game
45/70 for bear deer moose
458 wm big bear moose and buffalo
50 Cal muzzleloader I have 4
I have some gaps but my 25/06 and 458 wm cover almost everything considered big game

I usually use for North America 270 Weatherby, 338-06, 358 Win, 300 WSM and 6.5 WSM, 35 Whelen. For Africa 9.3x62, 9.3x66,275 Rigby, 416 Rigby, 375 H&H and my Markell double rifle in 470 NE

Got most of the bases covered. Still need another 12g after trading my KSG, thinking DP-12 when funds allow.
 
Just like a golf bag: you can get different tasks done with fewer clubs but are they ideal?

And of course there can be too many also...
