Havlin's , side mount , receiver to weaver type rail mount , for mossbergs

These things would be great , if I could find where to buy one. Havlin's side mounting , Weaver type rail (with two supplied screws) , for the old Mossberg .22's .
They bolt right onto the left side of the receiver , utilizing the existing ,factory drilled holes that some models have. They'r Havlin designed I guess , (they carry his name) However Havlin doesn't sell to Canadians.
Brownell sells them , but I read a bit about their export permits and kept searching.
It looks like a real good product ! Anybody got one? Where'd ya get it? Is there a Canadian dealer that carries them?
 
You can order one from William's Arms in Port Perry. They bring them in from Brownells. Around $40
Look for some really low rings to go with it.

I called Williams Arms today. Explained to him what I wanted. The Havlin / Mossberg M22 super side scope mount , listed on the Brownell's page for $27.oo. He said it would be several weeks before he put in another order. The brokerage fee is the same whether you order 1 part or 20 parts, so he waits till he has a big order to save on cost. I said , that's understandable , and that's fine with me. Then he said , when he did get it in it would be around $60 to his door , and then another $20 to ship to me, bringing it up to $80. I realize the $27.oo price on Brownell's page is in American funds, and our money takes about a 30% hit now , but I still thought this seems a lot , for a piece of 4 inch molded aluminum with 2 screws . I guess I will have to do without.
I don't blame him . He tried to be helpful I thought , and he has to make a buck too , or it's not worth his while. I understand that.
But I wont pay that much , just because I live on the other side of the St. Lawrence River. I can see NY state on the other side of the river , but it may as well be on the moon. The dark side apparently.
 
Hi Triggerman and all.I have one I put on an old Mossberg 46b and it works and fits great.Put a Weaver K4 on top and like it a lot.A friend of mine brought it up from California after Havlin shipped it to him.Good luck.
