So I just bought a Hawke scope last friday with my new rifle. I picked up a 2x7 ir. I actually preffered the Hawke to the Redfield battlezone.

I had the dealer fit the both scopes on a stock to view. Both have nice reticles and beautiful glass. I found that they were very similar but the Hawke seemed to be quicker on the draw so to speak. My eye was quicker to view through the Hawke.

Yesterday, I decide to go sight the new gun in with the Hawke. Well after 40 rounds down the pipe, I could not zero the scope. Now all the questions, what am i doing wrong...can't really figure it out so I send Hawke an email this morning about what's happening. To my surprise, at roughly 3pm I get a call from Hawke here in Ontario talking to me about the issues that I'm having. Long story short, they are sending me a new scope in the mail tomorrow. It seems that I got a lemon, after really taking a close look, one of the turrets for left and right adjustment was not level screwing up the internals every shot.

I am totally amazed at how awesome Hawke handled everything. They are truly excellent to deal with.

Just for them to be so quick to solve my issue will keep me as a customer for the long haul. :)

cheers

If I ever bought something new, that was defective out of the box, I can't say I would be thrilled with that company or their products. I'd be getting my money back and running far far away.
Chinese QC strikes again....hope your replacement works and lasts a while.

I've had defective top quality brands before, still use those ones. Are you saying that you've never used something that was defective and got it replaced?

haters gonna hate i guess

That's right....I recently bought a bolt carrier group for my AR15 from a certain unmentionable manufacturer..bolt failed after 3 rounds. I was promptly sent a replacement which I sold on the EE same day for a cheap price. If I get burnt on a POS product its a one time deal, I ain't going to get burnt twice, or own any of their products...

So according to you any product that should ever need warrantie work done on it is a POS. Well I have news for you ,even top self stuff like S&B has warranty claims.

Broken out of the box, or failed first time you use it....yeah, POS in my books and I'll never own that kinda crap....that's literally no QC checks at all done on that product.
Used hard for years and you feel you got your money's worth then breaks, not such a POS.

You really are something else.....

Every couple weeks there is a broken Vortex Crossfire, or broken Hawke thread same as this.....praise their customer service if you want, both replace busted products promptly. But how does that make it a good scope?

Sometimes it's really nice to get more than just a scope.

Now, hopefully you are done hating everything about prompt service and someone giving koodos out to a company. I am just saying thanks here and you are trashing everything, your comments are not even helpful in this thread.
