Hawke optics

I have the 4.5-14x42 Sidewinder 30, I've had it for a few years now. I also have Leupold, Tasco, Kahles, Minox Bushnell 4200,6500 and Sightron to compare with. The Sidewinder series of Hawke Optics are a very good value IMHO. The optics are clear and have good definition in low light for the money you spend. The trade off is they are heavy for their size. I would say they are very robust too, mine has spent a lot of time bouncing around on different truck guns over the years. It tracks well, keeps zero and has an illuminated reticle that doesn't cast glare inside the tube as most do in my experience . This is my go to scope for new acquisitions too, it has a generous eye box and has fit well on everything that has worn it.

I use two Hawke SW Tactical scopes. A 6.5 - 20 and a 8.5 - 25. Really nice, but at this price point, other scopes may be as good or better. I could do without the illumination, but very clear and bright with nice thin reticules and mil dots. They are a little heavy, but so are most in these sizes. They used to be on a couple spring air rifles. I am now looking for a CF. for them. Hawke is known in the airgun world as being able to take the extreme recoil of spring type air guns and their ability to focus to 10 yds. if that is important to you...C.

I have the sw 8-32 and its blurry on anything above 22 power past 300 meters. Anyone else have this problem or is it my scope. Other than that I love hawke scopes I'd rather run them then vortex
