Greetings everyone!

Here is an open invitation to anyone interested travelling up to Gods great north country for a trap shoot. The Hay River Shooting Club is doing its first organised 100 round shoot on Saturday, August 19th and 20th. Our club is a small club but a good club. We have one GMV auto shoot Trap machine that works pretty good. As well...we have a few club members that do shoot on a regular basis to add a little competitiveness.

This is gonna be a fun shoot, nuthing too serious...or boring for that matter! The entery fee will be $50 bucks. The Mosquitos are free...haha.

I better clean my glasses...I read the headline, and thought it said "100 yd. trap"....I figured you guys must have some awful tight chokes up there! :D
 
We have a youth squad that is just learning the fine art of Trap Shooting. Speaking of 100 yard shots, one of our youth takes his time for each shot. After he says "PULL" it feels like an hour has gone by before he shoots. Got funny when one of our senior shooters had enough and shot the clay.

Big discussion on getting onto the target as soon as it it comes out of the house. Some people have that skill already ingrained, but some others have to practice. Which is why we are doing that Saturday Aug 19th 100 round shoot. Come on out whom ever can, its gonna be alot of fun. Our youth need the expeariance.

How did your shoot go, Ralph? I was sorry that I got stuck in Edmonton at meetings and couldn't make it. Next time for sure. How did everyone score?
