Extended eye relief pistol scope
Very nice, love the Leupold glossy tubes
Might need to mount it up around the front sight of a rifle to use it as a scout... better suited for a pistol
 
Is anyone else surprised photo's posted by kamlooky are perfectly clear and legible, I always expected any photo's posted by him to look like scrambled cable #### :)

So we have word back from Leupold:

The lack of a letter suffix indicates the scope was manufactured sometime prior to 1974 and the record keeping was all done with pen and paper. If it is a pistol scope, the eye relief will be around 18"
